FormIt at RTCNA Recap!

by FormIt team, 29 July 2015

Last weekend was RTCNA - a conference created BY Revit users FOR Revit users. The conference began with a Revit Reunion when various members of the original development team were on stage together - a parametric moment! A few of FormIt's early adopters taught 3 different classes! Tony Caputo of Array Architects shared a few of his FormIt workflows, including a novel use for Solar Analysis before building your model to visualize solar impact on the site. Solar Ryan Cameron and Sean David Burke created several videos in support of their FormIt workshop. These generous FormIteers will publish the videos for everyone to view and learn from. They were also generous enough to let me jump on stage and show off our latest release, and this amazing model created by FormIt PM Tom Vollaro USAF Jarod Schultz filled up his classroom showing off advanced FormIt workflows like how to iterate on changes between FormIt and Revit - as well as getting topography from SketchUp into FormIt! His famous quotes... "If you last used FormIt360 6 months ago, well that's older than dirt!!! So much new stuff" and "RTCNA committee, next year can I get a bigger room to show FormIt 360???" Jarod, you're so quotable! Full What a great event - and what a recap - it's like you were there, right? Well - hold that thought! We'll invite these instructors to re-present the highlights from their classes in upcoming installments of our FormIt Friday Webinar series! You'll get to see and hear from real FormIt customers. Happy Summer!
